This dish might look difficult, but it takes only 15 minutes to make (after you have cleaned your clams, of course)!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb. of Raw Clams
- Minced Garlic
- Chopped Parsley
- Southern Art Spicy Korean BBQ Sauce
STEPS:
- Wash clams by scrubbing the outside shells and purge clams of any sand by soaking in a mixture of cold water and salt in a large bowl for about 20 minutes to 1 hour. Here's a useful link on how to purge your clams of sand.
- Fire up your outdoor grill or preheat your broiler to 450 degrees or on high.
- Place clams on directly on grill or in the broiler on a pan with rack.
- Once the clams start to open up, remove them from the heat and take off the side of the shell without the meat.
- Mix the garlic with the Southern Art Spicy Korean BBQ Sauce and drizzle the sauce mixture onto the meat of the clams.
- Return the clams back to the grill or broiler and cook for about 5 minutes or until it starts to bubble.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with rice or grilled sourdough bread.
