Pork Belly Skewers

Longing for those summer BBQ vibes? 🌞🍖 We are too! That's why we're warming up our winter by firing up the grill for some delicious Pork Belly Skewers. Join us as we recreate a bit of summer magic, right in our kitchen. Check it out below:

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of Pork Belly, cubed
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 inch Ginger, minced
  • Your desired amount of Southern Art Co. Hot Sauce
  • Your desired amount of Southern Art Co. One and Done seasoning
  • 2 Oranges, juiced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
  • Skewers
  • Prep Time: 

Cook Time: 1 hr 15 min

Serving Size: 2-4 people 

Instructions: 

  1. In a bowl mix together  garlic, ginger, hot sauce, seasoning, and orange zest and juice to make the marinade.
  2. Cut pork belly into cubes. 
  3. Place pork belly cubes into bowl and marinate pork for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  4. While the pork is marinating, slice bell peppers into pieces suitable for skewers.
  5. Remove pork belly cubes from the refrigerator and skewer marinated pork and peppers alternately.
  6. Use a grill (or cast iron skillet) on medium heat for 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until pork is cooked and peppers are slightly charred.
